Siemens Advanta is internal R&D center in Siemens, focused on product development for instrustrial and process automation. Reliability, robustness, security and safety are qualities which we and our customers admire the most. Our development process cover broad portfolio of domains starting from software and firmware over hardware and mechanical design to integration and system test. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certification and Validation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our devices are compliant with PROFINET and PROFIBUS standards. This role involves a mix of technical expertise, meticulous testing, and a deep understanding of industrial communication protocols.v

Budeš se věnovat především:

Execute comprehensive certification assessments for devices to ensure adherence to PROFINET and PROFIBUS standards
Engage in collaborative efforts with PROFIBUS & PROFINET International (PI) to contribute to the advancement of communication protocols

Participate in the creation and enhancement of testing tools designed to validate device compliance and performance
Develop detailed specifications and compile all requisite documentation to support the certification process and uphold industry standards

Měl/a bys mít:

High school or university-level education in electrical engineering, computer science, or automation, or equivalent experience in the field
A degree in Computer Science, Automation, or a related field from an accredited university is a benefit
Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for industrial automation will be considered a significant asset is advantage

Possess a thorough understanding of and practical experience in industrial communication systems is a benefit
