2-wire platform projekt
The 2WTP platform is an innovative communication solution that enhances field devices (probes and sensors) with advanced industrial bus capabilities, including Modbus, PROFINET, HART and EtherNet/IP. These devices measure field parameters such as flow, pressure, position, level and temperature.
Industrial sensors come in various types – position sensors, temperature sensors, pressure sensors, level sensors, vibration sensors, etc. However, they all need to communicate their measurements. That's why the 2WTP platform exists, offering development teams of these sensors a unified, pre-prepared solution that has all necessary certifications, including SIL.
Technology field is constantly evolving, and also this platform needs continuous improvement – adding more industrial fieldbuses, adapting to new products and new requirements, fixing potential bugs, etc.
