Siemens Advanta Development Centre

Siemens Advanta is an internal development centre engaged in research and development for the Siemens Group worldwide. Our Siemens Advanta team in the Czech Republic comprises more than 300 developers in three locations: Prague, Brno, and Pilsen, and we show stable and long-term growth. We are primarily involved in developing new and end-to-end products (software, hardware development, mechanics, testing). We engineer robust designs and solutions for industry with a lifetime for decades, which can also be deployed under harsh conditions such as drilling platforms. In addition, we develop end-to-end solutions in digitisation and the Internet of Things (IoT). 

It is a challenge for us to be a team that is behind top-class products such as the Simatic ET 200 IO modules, S7-1500 control systems, gas analysers, and many other exciting products and projects.

Siemens Advanta is a R&D division with young developers. We emphasise an informal working environment, where all employees are on first-name basis, across all seniority or organizational leveles. We're not afraid of feedback, and employees can give any feedback, too. We focus on sharing know-how across all teams, which creates an open and friendly culture. Also, we organise corporate events several times a year, e.g., a Christmas party, a sports day, and a summer camp with families.
