Technical documentation

Technical documentation is an important part of any product. Besides describing the equipment, the documentation must also be used for its operation and management, as well as for maintenance and repair.

Others

At our technical editorial office in Prague, we create user manuals and other technical documents for our products. These products fall primarily into the field of industrial automation, but also include solutions for building fire safety. The documentation is intended for end users who use our products. It is freely available for download on the Siemens website and is also available in the form of help directly in the software we develop. We provide an adequate level of information for each target group, from easy-to-understand "Getting Started" manuals to detailed system descriptions. Since we write in German, advanced knowledge of this language is key for us. We also supplement the documentation with graphics, take care of its layout and final archiving. For our work, we use content management systems (CMS), terminology databases and, last but not least, grammar and style checking tools. Throughout the entire documentation creation process, we work closely with our colleagues from the development departments across the entire group. Our goal is to create user-friendly and easy-to-understand documentation that allows users to work efficiently with our products.
