We're seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team working on the next generation of SIMATIC ET 200 family - our industry-leading decentralized I/O systems. What will be your responsibilities?

Perform integration, system, performance, and certification testing
Develop and maintain reliable test infrastructure and test setups
Analyze and report test results effectively
Creating, maintaining and adhering to testing documentation
Designing, realizing and maintaining test automation
Stay current with emerging testing technologies

Implement innovative testing approaches
Leverage AI-powered tools to maximize testing efficiency
Manage work independently and efficiently
Document and share technical expertise
Contribute to team knowledge base and best practices

What should you possess?

Experience as a Test Automation Engineer
Experience with industrial automation systems
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, …)
Experience with TIA Portal or similar automation tools
Working knowledge of Python or equivalent programming languages
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git

Basic understanding of CI/CD practices
Electrical engineering background (per Section 6 of Act No. 250/2021 Coll. and Government Order No. 194/2022)
Good English communication skills
Team-oriented approach
Problem-solving and analytical abilities
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
